Search engine and AI visibility
Customers search before they call, and AI assistants now answer instead of search engines at times. What does SALYSS SEO do so these engines understand your site and present it clearly?

Before a customer calls your company, they search. They type the service they need, or ask an AI assistant for the best answer to their problem. If search engines do not understand your site clearly, that customer will not see you, however good your service is. Search visibility is no longer a luxury; it is part of how a website works.
SALYSS SEO is the tool we use for this on our own sites and our clients’. It runs today on salyss.com and on Grandy Store, and its real estate edition runs on the Mithaq and HappyDays websites.
How do search engines read your page?
A search engine does not see a page the way a visitor does. It reads a set of signals that help it understand: what is this page, who owns it, and is it the best answer to what the user is looking for?

- Title and description: the first thing a searcher sees, and the basis for deciding to open the page.
- Structured data (schema): a machine-readable description saying this is a company, an article, or a product at a given price.
- Sitemap and robots file: point crawlers to the important pages and leave out what does not help.
- Links and images: connect content together, and describe images with alt text.
What does SALYSS SEO do on each page?
The plugin sets these signals automatically: a title and description for each page, a canonical link that prevents duplicate content, structured data by page type, and a sitemap and robots file. On the editing screen itself it shows the page’s readiness score and what is missing.

The check does not reward keyword stuffing. It asks for a clear page topic, enough content to explain it, described images and real internal links. A page reaches the full score only when it is useful to the reader first.
Beyond the single page
Beyond individual pages, the plugin watches the health of the whole site:
- An image audit: alt text, size and format.
- Internal link suggestions between related content, and pages nothing links to.
- Redirects for old links and 404 monitoring, so no visitor or ranking is lost after a URL changes.
- Warnings when titles repeat or several pages compete for the same topic.
What about AI?
AI assistants rely on the same understanding search engines do: clear content, and structured data that explains who you are and what you offer. A well-organized page is easier to understand and to quote. There is no special trick here, just a good foundation that serves both.
Where should you start on your own site?
You do not need to fix everything at once. This practical order suits most sites:
- The pages that sell: the home page and your most important service or product pages. Give each a clear title and a description that says what you offer and to whom.
- Technical errors: broken links, duplicate pages, and important pages missing from the sitemap.
- Images: alt text that actually describes the image, and a file size that does not slow the page down.
- Content that answers: articles and FAQs that answer what customers ask before buying, linked to your service pages.
SALYSS SEO shows these items on one dashboard, so you know where to start and what has already been fixed.
How we use it in the SALYSS Business Guide
Every article in the SALYSS Business Guide goes through the SALYSS SEO check before publishing, and is published only after passing every item: a short title that starts with the topic, a description that names it, at least three described images, FAQs and internal links.
